I started Play Learn Nurture because I couldn’t find one parenting blog that felt like it was written by someone who wasn’t pretending to have it all together. So here I am sharing the messy middle of parenting with honesty, humour, and the occasional meltdown (mine, not just the kids’).
I’m raising 2 wild little humans while dodging LEGOs, microwaving the same coffee twice, and trying to figure out how to stop a toddler from licking shopping carts.
I’m not an expert – but I’ve tested a LOT of toys, read every gentle parenting post at 2am, and tried more play ideas than I can count. Some were magical. Some… not so much. I will share them all here so you don’t have to waste time (or money) on what doesn’t work.
Because that’s what parenting is, right?
We play with them.
We learn from them.
We nurture them – and ourselves – through it all.
